PHOTOGRAPHER
Khodr Cherri
"When anything captured my eye in an emotional way I would follow that route."

Khodr has been the creative director for A&I Fine Art + Photography since 2008. He has worked with LACMA, Getty, MOMA, Fahey Klein Gallery and many more. Two years ago he joined the Art Center College of Design faculty to provide instruction in analog photography shooting and printing. His photographic journeys have always been defined by intuition and proximity to events.

“I believe in not worrying about what you cannot control, and shifting the energy to what we can create.”

His style has evolved during the process. He tried to keep a standard look with a minimalistic approach, diverse in color textures, but most importantly, striving to deliver in every image a strong message or proposing an important question.

“Photography like any other art form, it is not only about the aesthetic—it is also about telling a story: your story, my story, and our story.”

As a migrant to this country, he lived the American Dream by working hard, getting a higher education, helping to build an amazing community by providing guidance to artists, photographers and helping to prepare them for the next level in their careers.
